Due to the increased depth of the repairs and the additional material placed, the contractor has advised that the most appropriate course of action is to maintain the current road closure until early tomorrow morning to allow the repair material sufficient time to cure correctly.
Highways are aiming to reopen the road no later than 5:00am tomorrow.
