Due to emergency carriageway defects the A1307 will be CLOSED between the hours of 09:30-19:00 on:
- 18.03.2026 westbound from Swavesey to Pathfinder Link Road, Huntingdon
- 19.03.2026 eastbound from Pathfinder Link Road to Swavesey
There will be two diversions in place. One that utilises the A14 at junction 24 (Swavesey) – A141 and one that utilises A141 – A1123 – A10 – A14 J33 for non-expressway traffic.
We are aware that currently the B1050 is closed in Willingham for planned works and utilises the A1307 as part of its diversion route. To ensure further delays are not encountered on this project works may be undertaken on the 18th under stop and go or an alternative diversion route being implemented for these two days being A1123 – B1049 – Rampton Road and vice versa. Whilst we understand this is not ideal it is important that these emergency works are carried out.
Emergency vehicles under blue lights will be allowed through the closure where it is safe to do so however because of specialist machinery on site this may not be possible at all times.
