Just a reminder that these works only include works that are due to start between (16th – 31st December) and longer term works that are still in progress will have been included on previous reports. Our apologies, three closures were missed off this report in error. These are listed below:
Wednesday 12th to Friday 14th (three nights)
- Buckingway Road
- A14 eastbound Swavesey junction 28 exit and entry slips
Friday 14th (one night)
- A14 eastbound Bar Hill junction 29 exit and entry slips

Road works & events in and around Willingham 1 – 15th December
A1, A1198, B1043 & B1514 CLOSED THIS WEEKEND (1st – 2nd December ’18)
A14 C 2 H Road closures week commencing 26th Nov ’18
A1 Closures – 9pm Fri 30th November until 6am Monday 3rd December
The A1 southbound will be closed all this weekend from the A1(M) Junction 14 (Alconbury) to the A14 Junction 23 (Brampton Hut roundabout). The closure will be in place from 9pm Friday 30th Nov until 6am Monday 3rd December and will be due to works by Highways England on the A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon upgrade (please note that from 9pm Friday to 6am Saturday the closure will be from A1(M) J14 all the way through to Buckden).
The diversion from Friday 9pm until Saturday 6am will be along the A14 to J24 (Godmanchester), A1198 southbound to the A428, then the A428 westbound to rejoin the A1 at Wyboston. The closure is in red, and the diversion in purple on the map below:
