New Date for Huntingdon Station access opening

As part of the A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon scheme works in Huntingdon town centre, we are pleased to confirmed the new station access road for Huntingdon train station will now open from 8am on the morning of Friday 11 December.

Both the new access via the A1307 and the existing access via Brampton Road will remain open over the weekend, but from 10am Monday 14 December, the existing access will close.

We have attached a map to illustrate where the new access will be and also the area where we will be working.

From December 2020 to Spring 2021, work around the station will include:

  • Continuing work to remove the A14 viaduct
  • Starting station car park improvements
  • Working to divert utilities, such as gas, water, etc
