Willingham Parish Council have been asked to share the following information about Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) Fenland, which covers Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.
If not familiar with AA, you may find the following of interest:
1. Over 4,800 AA meetings nationally, weekly.
2. Free to attend, no waiting lists.
3. All inclusive, AA welcomes everyone, the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
4. A safe, confidential space. Where a warm welcome awaits.
5. Non religious, a spiritual program.
6. Available 24/7, along with Zoom meetings, and a free 24 hour confidential helpline.
7. 280,000 estimated admissions to hospitals 2019/2020. A 2% increase over the previous year.
